Basic R Course for Animal Movement 2026
Join our workshop in Kenya from the 9th of November until the 13th of November 2026. This course focuses on R for Animal Movement and will prepare you for the two-week Animove course that follows. Our Animove Basic workshop will take place at the Ewaso Nyiro Camp / Mpala Research Centre in Kenya.
Please note: This course is for students from African institutions and Universities only.

We are in the process of applying for funding to assist with the cost for the Basic R Course, but you are welcome to apply in the meantime.

The fees include:
- Instruction, course participation and course material

- Meals and soft drinks for the two weeks (breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshments)
AniMove 2026
From the 16th until the 28th of November 2026 you will join the Animove Workshop with leading researchers for you to expand your knowledge and to take the opportunity to form networks and friendships with academics and students from around the world. This workshop will take place at the Mpala Research Centre in Kenya.
Cost: approx. USD 1630,-
We are in the process of securing funding to support the cost of the Animove Workshop, but you are welcome to apply in the meantime.
